Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3)

Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) - Richelle Mead Overall likeaable, though several things seemed off to me in this one. The pacing, for starters—I don't want to see action scenes every three pages, but I think some parts should've been cut, as they don't bring anything to character development. I also wonder about the catastrophe at the end: plot-wise, it seemed to rely on a complete random chain of events, and while it was actually logical, I would've liked seeing how exactly, and at which moment, the odds were turned and everything went down the drain for the Academy.

And Rose, please stop treating Adrian like you do. I know, he can be quite infuriating, and his antics are sometimes tiring, but seriously? That stunt at the end? Yeah, that was rotten, girl.

(On the other hand, I really like how the Lissa/Christian relationship is evolving, as well as how those two characters behave. Lissa seems to be more and more self-confident, probably more able to stand up for herself than she thinks, and Christian is definitely going the badass road for me.)
