Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2)

Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) - Richelle Mead A nice surprise, that one. At first I thought I'd just find it OK, Rose being her tantrum-throwing self and all that. However, she actually goes through positive changes, and gets to reflect on her behaviour and grow up, both as a teenager and as a character. Granted, circumstances in the last third of the book could only force her to, but the changes started before that. Now I feel she can really shine as the strong person she's meant to be.
