A Clockwork Fairytale

A Clockwork Fairytale - Helen Scott Taylor Enjoyable, and I liked how Melba actually uses the skills she's learnt as a young thief, and takes matters into hands (not all the times—of course I didn't expect her to be an expert in court politics, for instance and understood what was going on—but at least when it counts).

I don't really understand the 'steampunk/clockwork' thing, though. There are a few automatons and a steam engine or two, but the whole book doesn't give steampunk vibes in my opinion. So beware if you're looking for a "real" steampunk story. This one is much, much more on the rags-to-riches fairytale side, and not on the SP one.
